If you didn’t get a chance to listen to the audio version, I’ve posted a free, text-only transcript of “A Facet of That Faceless Death” here on the site for anyone to read.
If you’d rather check out the aforementioned audio version of the story, it was performed for the NoSleep Podcast. Just keep in mind that “Facet” was one of the last two stories of the episode, which is only accessible with a NoSleep membership.
Coming up…
I’m taking a short break to redesign the site (and indulge in holiday shenans). But when I come back, I’m going to start posting like I used to. The plan is for one post a week with a mix of creative short fiction, writing insight and pop culture commentary. If you don’t want to miss it, consider signing up!
And if you’d like to check out more of my fiction…
“Aixa the Hexcaster” was published at Mirror Dance Fantasy in 2016: http://www.mirrordancefantasy.com/2016/09/aixa-hexcaster.html.
Until next time, have a great holiday season! And remember: do not pour anything into the coquito. Seriously, if a friend makes coquito and brings it to your holiday party, don’t mix it with anything. If you don’t like it, just be like, “Eh, it’s not for me.” That’s fine. If you want to be supportive, be like, “But what’s in it?” Maybe, “Why is it called ‘coquito’?” But whatever you do, do not pour fucking Sprite into it and be like, “Omfg! It’s so much better now! Here–try it!” Seriously, don’t get suplexed this holiday season.
